Single Mothers and Sons Foundation is made up of Single Moms regardless of race or religion who are raising their sons primarily on their own with little or no help from the son's Father.

SMAS PHILOSOPHY

Too often and too frequently people in our society are left to their own devices, and there are very few groups, if any, who fit that category as much as single mothers and their children.  The philosophy of SMAS is to be driven by the notion that this is unacceptable, and SMAS will work to reverse the increasing trend of single women raising children with little or no support.  In order to give meaning to the concept of “no children left behind”, SMAS will dedicate itself to ensuring that an attitude exists in our society that first and foremost, no mother will be left behind.
